WoW Forever Engineering

Last checked 3 Nov 2026

Engineering is a primary profession with Gnomish and Goblin specializations; the choice gates teleporters, gadgets and some recipes.

Forever engineering makes guns, ammo, grenades, mines, target dummies and repair bots. The campsite feature is Reagent Bot (buy reagents, later repair gear), then Anarchist's Workbench for recipes that require it.

Engineering has historically been the strongest endgame PvE/PvP profession in Classic, and the class guides still recommend it for hunters, warriors, rogues and mages. It is expensive to level and less useful while leveling.

Use the Forever engineering URL; the older MoP Classic engineering page is easy to mistake for it and has 600-skill data that does not apply.
