New tools: Victory Rush (10% max health after a kill), Spearing Strike (dismounts, bonus vs giants/dragonkin/mounted), Weaponmaster (all weapon specializations merged; maces and staves ignore armor), Bloodthrill (Rend can proc Overpower) and Improved Slam (no swing reset).
Talents and class choices
Rend and Deep Wounds can crit; Thunder Clap's attack-speed debuff increased from 10% to 20%; Retaliation and Shield Wall cooldowns dropped from 30 to 15 minutes, and Shield Wall now reduces 60% instead of 75%.
Every race can be a warrior. Night Elf is the Alliance PvE pick (Elune's Light); Orc is the straightforward Horde pick. Protection Warrior is the consensus S-tier tank in the launch tier lists.
Best professions: Mining + Blacksmithing while leveling, then swap one to Engineering at 60. Victory Rush and the built-in swing timer help, but solo leveling is still slow and rage-dependent.
