Enhancement is now a two-handed spec; dual wield was removed. Maelstrom Weapon gives an instant Lightning Bolt at 5 stacks, Fire Nova is tied to the active fire totem, Totemic Projection repositions all totems, and Rage of the Farseer is a 3-minute cooldown giving 30% melee haste for 25 seconds.
Talents and class choices
Windfury Totem no longer pulses a weapon imbue; it is a static group-wide buff that stacks with weapon enchants. Flametongue Totem pulses a buff to group main-hand hits and also stacks. Every melee group wants one shaman.
Races: Dwarf is the only Alliance option; Horde can be Orc, Tauren, Troll or Skyborne (Windshaper). Orc is the usual Horde pick for Blood Fury.
Enhancement levels easily on weapon attacks with little mana; endgame value is the totem utility, not necessarily top damage. Best professions: Leatherworking/Blacksmithing early, Alchemy for consumables.
