Nine playable races: human, dwarf, night elf, gnome, orc, undead, tauren, troll and the new Skyborne. Six new class/race combinations open up: Gnome Priest, Human Hunter, Dwarf Shaman, Orc Mage, Troll Warlock, Undead Paladin.
Skyborne can be Warrior, Hunter, Rogue or Druid on both factions, Shaman on Horde and Mage on Alliance; they cannot be Paladin. The race requires the Heroic pack or higher.
Racials were reworked across the board to bring races within roughly 1% of each other for damage. Oct tuning: Orc Blood Fury cooldown 2 min (was 3), Troll Berserking 15 sec (was 10), Undead Touch of the Grave internal cooldown 15 sec (was 25).
