WoW Forever Name Reservation
Last checked 3 Nov 2026
Early Name Reservation runs October 27–November 3, 2026, with up to three characters per account across all rulesets; regional start times differ in the official announcement.
Eligibility: Skyborne Heroic, Skyborne Epic, Warcraft Forever Collection or the physical Collector's Edition. The benefit applies only to the WoW account that bought the upgrade.
Forever uses two names per character (first + second). The full combination must be unique within the region; official rules defer to the code of conduct, while a community write-up documents 2–12 characters per name, accented letters allowed, no spaces/hyphens/numbers/apostrophes, no triple letters.
'No realms available' was reported by players who launched the beta client or could not see a ruleset. The forum fix was to select the live client and try another ruleset (some could only enter Roleplay). Blizzard also fixed an over-restrictive name filter (names containing 'c-o-n') with realm restarts.
